I visited this facility The Virginian was very nice. The only drawback that we saw was that they're currently renovating. I'm sure it's going to be beautiful when it's done, but it's kind of busy right now, but we liked everything about it. The person was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Another drawback was the fact that we wanted a pool. They plan on putting one in eventually, but it'll be a while before that gets in.

I visited this facility The Virginian seems to be all-inclusive. It seemed to cover your care as you went through life, and they had provisions for assisted living and then provisions for dementia. The problem is the Virginian is going through construction right now. So it seems like the patrons that are there are being inconvenienced. And it's estimated that it wouldn't be completed for 18 months, so we're going to have to think about that. The staff that gave the tour was very pleasant, the tour was very complete, and she was nice. We liked her, she was very careful and she answered all of our questions. We were quite impressed by the place until we looked at the level of reconstruction. They're moving people around from section to section and they'll move people back in there as they move to another section.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I visited my dad in the Virginian a week ago. It is expensive, but they do provide great services and great communication about what they are doing with my dad. The facility is five stories high, and it is all contained in one building. I know that they provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They could eat in the dining facility, or they could have food brought to them. I think they can order off a menu. They have a lot of activities, and they are opening up more things after COVID.

We are excited that 100% of our eligible residents and more than 80% of our staff have been vaccinated, which provides us among the highest overall level of vaccinations among senior living and long-term care communities. While we remain diligent in terms of COVID safety protocols, this in turn allows opportunities to continue to open to more activities, large and small, as well as visitors and off campus travel. While we understand the total cost of residency can appear significant, we have found our overall pricing to be very good compared to other Northern Virginia communities, and, as you indicate, do include nearly all day-to-day living expenses including meals, care, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and utilities. We are very excited about the progress of our $56M renovation, which will modernize as well as substantially add to our amenities and features, which we hope your dad will enjoy! I am a friend or relative of a resident Virginian was a very big, very nice, very good, and beautiful facility. The dining area was fine. My husband was there for physical therapy, and they had a terrific staff. It was great. They really helped him. I was very happy with our experience.

I visited this facility I visited The Virginian, and everything was to my liking. It was not too fancy, but it was very comfortable. It was quiet, but not too subdued. The personnel were very friendly and courteous. They had the whole gambit of continuing care. They have apartments, then assisted living, and nursing home. They do not have independent homes. The food was good. The staff was pleasant. I participated in the fitness class that they offered every day.
